Play in a tournament

Join or return

Open the link or QR code shared by the organizer, enter your name, and select Join Tournament. You land on Me, your personal page. It tells you when you are waiting for the organizer to accept a late request and when you are waiting for the tournament to start, and it updates by itself.

If you already played in this club on this device or signed in, the page shows Continue as your name in the club and you just select Join as it. Your name belongs to the club: in another club you may use a different one. To change your name in this club, ask the organizer to rename you in the Lobby.

Your name must be different from everyone else's in the club, ignoring capital letters and extra spaces. If it is already taken, the form keeps what you typed and says so under the field and asks Is this you? Choose That's not me to pick another name. Choose That's me if you played here before: sign in with your email when you saved one, ask the organizer in person to invite you when you are at the venue, or use Share request to ask the organizer privately, never in a group chat, when you are somewhere else.

If the organizer invites you personally, open the invitation link or scan the QR code. It shows who you are signing in as; choose Sign in as your name, then join under your own name. Each invitation works once and expires after 24 hours, so ask for a new one if it stops working. To see every browser signed in as you, or to sign one out, open your account menu and choose Devices.

If you close the browser, reopen the app on the same device and choose the tournament from Recent tournaments. You return to Me. You do not need an account to keep access in that browser.

Your page: Me

Me shows only what concerns you:

  • Who won? with a Court badge tells you where to play, with your partner, your opponents, and who is Batman or Robin;
  • Waiting for the next round for a moment right after the start, until the first matches are created;
  • You are on the bench while you sit out a round, with how many players are on courts and on the bench;
  • You are unavailable when you asked not to get new matches;
  • your match history, including aborted matches.

The Lobby, Ranking, and Standings tabs remain available for the whole tournament.

Report the result

On Me, tap the team that won. Another player's matching choice confirms the same winner. If players choose different teams, the result is disputed and the organizer resolves it. Tap your chosen team again to clear your choice, or tap the other team to change it.

On Ranking, open your current court from the right, name side of a player card and select the winning team, or No result to remove your choice.

While you wait

The organizer updates Tournament Rank and assigns the next matches. Being on the bench does not mean you have left the tournament.

If you need a break, switch off Available for new matches on Me. This only affects new matches: if you are on a court, you still play that match and record its result. Switch it on again when you are ready.

Use Standings to see who is leading and where you are. Ranking shows a recorded result marked Not applied to Tournament Rank: it has been reported but not yet processed by the organizer.
